Air Cushion Valve

Air Cushion Valves — Component & Material Variant Table

Air cushion valves are hydraulically operated, spring-loaded devices that admit and cushion air during pump start-up and shutdown, protecting rising mains from surge and water hammer. Fabricated steel construction is built to suit site-specific flange and pressure requirements. Used on large-diameter pumping mains in water supply and irrigation schemes.
